A Royal Worcester porcelain reticulated vase by George Owen, shape 2256, date cipher for 1908, of ovoid baluster shape with an octagonal mouth and pair of raised loop handles to the shoulder, the body pierced with a graduated honeycomb design with a band of more complicated design at mid height, moulded decoration to the should and circular foot, ivory ground with fine gilt decoration throughout, incised signature and date 'G. Owen 1907' underside together with a gilt printed factory mark with shape number, 16.5 cm high. Condition: hairline crack across the base of the loop of one handle.
