An English, C.1918, tobacco jar, most likely by Taylor Tunnicliffe and Co of Staffordshire. Decorated with cobalt blue depictions of two horse portraits and a portrait of a hound'. Having a lockable lid and a hallmarked sterling silver lid, Birmingham 1917-1918, by 'Deakin and Francis Ltd'. Underglaze blue mark to base. Height 12 cm
