Rosewood ladies desk -Bonheur du jour, an elegant French 19th century Vernis Martin painted piano top rosewood ladies Desk-Bonheur du jour, on shaped cabriole legs with foliate ormolu mounts, fitted with full length lower drawer below Vernis Martin painted dome central panel depicting a courting scene, having secretaire fitted interior, drop down writing surface, drawers, pigeon holes etc below 3 smaller upper drawers and pierced brass gallery. All original condition. C 1870s. Height 107.5 cm, width 79 cm, depth 54 cm
