Description:
A carved wood tobacco pipe by Thomas Heberley (1876 - 1937). The bowl is carved with double tane figures lying prone with elbows raised, one hand to hip and the other holding extended tongues. Paua embellishment. Curved Bakelite stem with muka binding to the mouth piece. The rim is stamped 'Christeson', 18ct. Length 15 cm.
