A unique early 20th century Anglo Indian Peacock chair, the bird's head and neck forming the front leg, the sides with carved bird legs and the birds tail supporting the back with wings forming the arms, the chair back having a well carved panel featuring peacock feather motifs. With original silk seat and cushion (showing some wear). 40 x 65 x 90 cm. Purchased by our vendor in Rajasthan.
