Two Australian Aboriginal Spearthrowers and fire sticks (Northern Territory and Queensland). Early 20th century. Northern Territory spear thrower, carved wood, peg attached by sinew and resin; cape York spear thrower, carved wood, peg attached by sinew and resin, bailer shell handle; fire sticks, carved wood, beeswax, palm leaf and red abrus seeds, length 89 cm, 78 cm, and 68 cm . Provenance: Executed in cape York Queensland and Northern Territory, early to mid 20th century; estate of Mr Gary Bradley, Victoria; thence by descent. Private Collection, Victoria, length 67 cm
