A pair of Derby biscuit figures, from 'The four rustic Seasons', representing spring fashioned as a young woman wearing a wide brimmed hat over her mob cap, and holding a posy of flowers in one hand and flowers and fruits in her apron, and summer, modelled as young gardener with a basket of flowers on his left arm and a posy in the other, each on mounded base, circa 1760.
