Two 18th century Derby soft paste porcelain figures, the first emblematic of 'Feeling', seated on a rocky outcrop, with a parrot pecking her fingers, her skirt painted with floral sprays, and heightened in gilt, circa 1755. The second a gentleman emblematic of 'Smell', modelled taking snuff, his waistcoat floral painted and also heightened in gilt, flowers applied to base. Height 17 cm. (2).
