Two Derby 'dry-edge' figures, the first of a seated woman emblematic of 'Feeling' or 'Touch', with perched parrot beside her, on mounded base, circular hole to back for metal fitting. Height 18 cm. The second a figure of a gentleman snuff taker, an allegorical figure of 'Smell', seated diagonally on a rocky outcrop with a snuff box in his left hand, the right taking a pinch, the model attributed to Agostino Carlini, circa 1752-55.
