A Derby soft paste porcelain figural group, representing 'Taste', from the 'Chinese Senses', probably modelled by Agostino Carlini, depicting a Chinese man and a boy, each holding flasks and a cup, on plain mounded base, painted with enamels, circa 1752-55.
