A William IV sterling silver snuff box, 1834 Birmingham, with maker's mark for William Simpson the cast top table snuff with a crisply decorated hunting scene in high relief, bordered by a cast foliate edge, by a specialist box maker of the period, with original crest to a rectangular cartouche to the underside surrounded by engine turned decoration, marked twice to the gilt interior.
