A celadon and russet jade 'Bat and Gourd' carving, 20th century the group finely carved in openwork as double gourds surrounded by large fruiting branches and coiling vines growing from a gnarled stem with bats perched on top and resting on a large lingzhi mushroom sprig, one gourd with opening to use as a travel brush washer, the stone of an even celadon milky tone with russet inclusions skillfully integrated into the design.
