An important Iatnul orator's Pulpit, Papua New Guinea C.1960, from the Iatnul and related Chambri people, quality craftmanship with the use of human hair, cassowary feathers, seashells various grasses and polychrome painted finish. (They are used as a type of Lectern, where the speaker stands in front of the pulpit whilst delivering his speech.) Exhibited: Brisbane trade 1988, height 300 cm
