A fine Worcester porcelain silver-shaped plate decorated in the London atelier of James Giles with the Calmady arms (Captain Warwick Calmady, Cornwall). English circa 1772, holly wreath and gilt lappet-edged borders. Provenance: Dundacher collection. Robert and Judy Jones London 21/08/1992 (1,500 pounds). Robert Burke Collection. Reference: The arms probably refer to Captain Warwick Calmady (1711-88), or possibly his son of the same name, born in 1753.
