A very rare pair of Chelsea porcelain figural sweetmeat stands in the form of a Turkish man and lady seated holding a large scallop shell. English circa 1755, the lady with red anchor mark. Provenance: Dr F. Severne Mackenna collection no 52. Robert and Judy Jones London 11/02/1992 (2325 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 224.
