A very rare Chelsea porcelain artichoke form bowl and cover with bird finial, English circa 1755, red anchor mark. Provenance: The Antique Porcelain Company New York. Mrs Susan S Dillion Collection, USA. Albert Amor Ltd London 09/11/2020 (16,000 pounds). Robert Burke collection. Reference: Patrick Synge-Hutchinson, The Connoisseur, August 1954, 'Some Chelsea Porcelain of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother at Clarence House'.
