14ct Gold Pendant C1947 - 1949, 33 mm diameter with the Madoura Emprinte Originale Picasso stamp, verso. The pendant came from our vendors father's estate, and remembers him wearing it as far back as the 1960s on a leather thong, thus there was no chain. Our vendors father Rex Arrowsmith, had a gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, U.S.A. from 1959 until 1973. Many movies were made in the area so he had many celebrity friends and clients including Elvis Presley to whom he sold jewellery visiting him in his California home. He sold the gallery, but continued to deal in all sorts of antiques, pretty much until his passing at age 92.
