An early Victorian sterling silver Christening mug, 1846 London, with maker's mark for John S Hunt the heavy gauge mug of tapering form with a naturalistic handle, the body finely repousse and chased with fruiting vines on a matt ground, initialled to shield form cartouche, marked under the rim, stamped '3006 Hunt & Roskell late Storr, Mortimer & Hunt' to the underside.
