A Chinese Imari barber's bowl, Qing Dynasty, late 18th century brightly enamelled with leafy sprays of hibiscus, prunus and other flowers within a wide band on the rim of diaper and cell patterns edged in scrolling leaves and trailing floral sprigs, the backs with three large peony sprays in iron-red and underglaze blue. Height 6 cm, diameter 27.5 cm
