A Michael Powolny glass shade on a wrought iron lamp base, Michael Powolny (Austria 1871-1954), circa 1920 the married 'Tango' shade in cased red glass with applied black snake tendrils, attributed to Michael Powolny for Loetz, on a c1930 Bohemian wrought iron base with tapering splats cage column with applied leaves and spiral-ended supports, raised on a signed square base with a thumb-pressed finish. Height 38.5 cm
