A pair of a Cantonese export famille rose vases, late Qing, late 19th century the large pair of baluster vases with everted rims, adorned with gilt lug handles to the neck and chilongs to the shoulder, hand painted overall in bright coloured enamels with rectangular panels with alternating figural scenes in interiors and song birds on blooming branches, divided by foliate borders with butterflies, unmarked. Height 44 cm
