A Japanese Imari porcelain lamp base, Meiji period, 19th century with modern mounts and re-wired with French plug, the baluster base decorated in underglaze blue and iron red enamel with shaped panels of vegetal motifs above stiff leaf border, with embossed brass base and mounts preserving the burner mechanism.
