Zeiss Ikon: Contax II 543/24 rangefinder camera [#F.43946], circa 1938, with Sonnar 50 mm f2 lens [#2336428]. Rare engraving on rewind knob 'for Manchoukuo' indicates that this camera was produced for the Japanese Manchoukuo puppet state that ruled Northeastern China from 1932 until the end of the Second World War.
