Kodak: Gold-plated Retina IIa rangefinder camera with snakeskin body, circa 1952, with Retina-Xenon 50 mm f2 lens [#2938383] and Synchro-Compur shutter. The Retina line of cameras was produced from 1934 to 1969 by Kodak Ag, Kodak's German subsidiary in Stuttgart. It is not known whether this fully-working, gold-plated exemplar was a factory special, or if it was made for a specific owner.
