Edward Lear [In the style of], 19th century English school - south Eastern European, Balkan type landscape, with figures and thatched pavilion in foreground; oil on canvas laid down on board, label on reverse, collection: 'William Bromley - davenport. Baginton hall then removed to Capesthorne hall, 47 x 80 cm, in finely carved gilt rococo mid 19th century frame. Provenance: Estate of John Lawford.
