Mahi Kahatu, worked stone, a carved stone of slightly flattened spherical shape, with parallel notched ridges around the circumference with circular notched ridges on each side. There is a drilled hour glass suspension hole at the top of the shape, a separate greenstone pendant has been has been tied to the main stone through this hole. The hole is flanked by two protrusions carved with two faces, the whole has a flattened base and can stand on this surface, the shape has a resemblance to a carved stone fishing weight.
