Key to Tokyo presented to Walter Nash from Governor Yasui 1959, gilt metal and enamel in fitted cedar box, together with a facsimile photo of the presentation and another of Nash with emperor Hirohito, Empress and the Crown Prince, 20th Feb, 1959., other recipients of the Tokyo medal include, Leo Durocher, manager of the New York Giants baseball team. Helen Keller, deaf and blind author and political activist. John Glenn, first American to orbit the earth, and Edwin O Reischauer, United States Ambassador to Japan.
