A 19th century Dresden covered vase by Carl Thieme (1816-88), with double goat head mask handles, the body painted with a bouquet of flowers to one side, a romantic scene to the reverse, allover floral sprays and heightened in gilt, the pierced cover with a sculpted floral finial, blue underglaze mark to base. Height 67 cm.
