Early 20th century sporting cup, a fine example of a large sterling silver trophy cup having twin handles a deep bowl and circular pedestal base. Engraved as follows. The Amerter Turf club. 1930. The Australian Hunters Steeplechase . Won by Mr. A Suttons. The Cracksman . Race was held in Adelaide A.C.T South Australia. Saturday 20th September 1930. Marked Stg Sil. Probable Australian manufactured. Height: 19 cm. Weight: 819.3 grams.
