A pair of porcelain inset satinwood and ebony work tables in the French manner, 19th century, each with a hinged rectangular top enclosing a velvet lined interior, above dipped aprons inset with a Sevres style oval porcelain medallions hand painted with a Watteauesque shepherdess and a courting couple, raised on slender cabriole legs united by undertiers, with cast bronze mounts and sabots, 70 cm high, 31 cm wide, 23 cm deep.
