A large Ming style blue and white vase, 20th century, of baluster form surmounted by a tall waisted neck set with double loop handles, painted in bright blue with simulated 'Heaping and piling' with a band of the eight Buddhist emblems above a continuous lotus scroll, the neck decorated with a band of upright plantain leaves and ruyi-head border between bands of waves, the high flared foot encircled with a lingzhi fungus scroll, 63 cm high
