A George Nelson for Herman Miller chest of drawers, 1951-1956, USA. Designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller as part of the 'Basic cabinet Series', also called 'Primavera'. Three drawers sitting on top of Nelson's signature ebonised legs. These drawers feature the rarer signature round handles rather than the more common rectangular aluminium drawer pulls. Original 'George Nelson design, Herman Miller, Zeeland Michigan' foil label in upper drawer. Height 75.5 cm, width 87 cm, depth 47 cm
