A rare pair of chairs by John Britten, in the style of William Plunkett. These chairs were designed and hand-made by New Zealand inventor John Britten (1950-1995), known for his 1992 V1000 motorbike design. With original upholstery. One held in Te Papa's permanent collection. Height 80 cm, width 76 cm, depth 73 cm, Provenance: from the collection of Andrew Drummond. Previously used by Britten in his workshop/studio
