A Meissen porcelain hot milk jug, circa 1740, of baluster form with a wishbone handle and acanthus thumbpiece, gilded spout, all on a turquoise ground, hand painted with reserves of harbour scenes, the cover decorated uniformly, underglazed blue crossed swords to the base and gilders 53, 14.5 cm high.
