A Swedish Gustavian period hardwood bureau cabinet, late 18th century, the upper part with a geometrically-arched moulded cornice above a pair of doors enclosing shelves between canted corners, the projecting lower part of conforming outline with a sloping fall front enclosing small drawers flanked by cascading flights of small drawers with a pair of cupboard doors below, on bun feet, the doors, fall, and canted panels each quarter-veneered with opposed triangles, 213 cm high, 123 cm wide, 70 cm deep
