Two Japanese woodblock prints by Kikugawa Eizan (1787-1867), Edo period (1603-1868), circa 1810, the first an Oban tate-e of a courtesan with client behind a screen, from the series 'Twelve hours in the pleasure quarters', the second an Oban tate-e from the same series, 'two courtesans and kamuro (attendant)', both framed and signed ,Kiku Eizan hitsu, with censors ,kiwame ,(approved) seal and ,gyoji ,(publisher guild) seal, ,Tsumuraya Saburobei, and publisher seal ,Ezakiya Ichibei of Tenjudo. 48.5 x 36 cm
