A Victorian silver plate and hippopotamus tusk table centre piece, the ornate embossed base with four scrolling feet, supporting the single tusk to the centre with scrolling side branches each holding a cut crystal dish (one broken and partly repaired), the tusk holds a conforming cut crystal trumpet in a silver plate holder with dragon decoration. The base stamped with maker Joseph Rodgers and Sons Sheffield. 51 x 22 x 62 cm.
