A Gothic style mahogany and inlay longcase clock, early 19th century, the hood with swan's neck cresting centred by a brass finial, arched door flanked by reeded columns, the Roman numeral face having two subsidiary dials, bordered by marquettes of maidens and angels, signed Tootle, Eccles, with two-train chiming movement with subsidiary painted revolving second dial. The case with oak door, on a plinth base and bracket feet. Would benefit from a service. 243 cm.
