A group of three Sancai-glazed ceramic parrots, Qing Dynasty, 19th century each bird modelled with its wings tucked to the side and perched on an openwork rock base, all covered in deep emerald and sienna brown glazes, and incised with swirls and lines to denote their plumage, with round white eyes centering black pupils, each with small round opening to the back of the head possibly to use as joss stick holders, unmarked. Height 22 cm
