A Chinese yellow-ground famille rose cylindrical vase, Tongzhi (1862-1874) mark, 20th century moulded as bamboo stems with applied decoration of a baluster vase holding sprays of lotus blossoms and leaves, all reserved on a bright yellow ground, with apocryphal Tongzhi iron red six-character mark to the base.
