A Chinese carved and lacquered wood shrine cabinet, 20th century the interior painted with gold lacquer depicting a five-fold screen with scenes of mountains, pines, lakes, the exterior doors richly carved in deep hollow relief fully gilded, the interior medallions of inner doors carved with vegetative motifs surmounted by flying phoenixes. Exterior doors have lotus blossoms above dragons. Height 55 cm, width 48 cm, depth 23 cm
