A large Art Nouveau walnut library bookcase, circa 1900 in the style of Henri Sauvage and Louis Majorelle, the imposing open bookcase with an everted pediment, a beautifully carved crest of languid vegetal forms flanked by tapering fluted sides arching over the top, comprising three compartments with adjustable open shelves, writing slides to the mid-section and a central cupboard door to the lower section, all raised on a plinth base.
