A French spelter figure after Moreau mounted as a lamp, late 19th century after the original by Auguste Moreau, the allegorical figure of a maiden walking on top of a cloud-like base, one of her outstretched hands fitted with a flame frosted glass shade, raised on an integral stepped stand, signed 'Moreau' and titled 'Reveil de Mai par Aug. Moreau' to a brass plaque. Height 96 cm
