A Doris Dutch Cityscape vase, made from earthenware in a cylindrical form. A rough and textured surface, and applied geometric designs that represent a city scape. Impressed maker's mark at the base. Dutch's (1926-2012) works are held in many prestigious including the Auckland Art gallery Toi o Tamaki and Museum of New Zealand Te papa Tongarewa. Dutch was interested in the New Zealand landscape and in the fragility and impermanence of the man-made environment, length 31.5 cm, depth 6.6 cm
