A large Ian Smail teapot, made from stoneware. With two strap handles and a short spout. With a brown salt glaze. Smail learned his craft at night school in 1972. Smail and his wife set up a kiln in Auckland's north Shorth that was used by many of Aotearoa's most respected potters, height 28 cm, depth 34 cm
