A Feltex picture rug of Aoraki 'Mount Cook', depicting mountain ranges with native plant life, a pakeko, and a koru inspired lower edge design. Feltex rugs started producing rugs with iconic landmarks for the tourist trade. In the 1960s and '70s, they became part of a greater cause to celebrate New Zealand scenery and culture. 136 x 69 cm
