A large Louis XV gilt bronze mantel clock, Paris, circa 1750, with a pagoda top surmounted by a crowing bird finial, the pressed dial with enamel Arabic cartouches with minute markings and pierced hands, with gilt bronze rocaille mounts throughout and cabriole feet, the body painted with foliage and roses, with key, pendulum, silk suspension, quarter striking on three bells, mechanism apparently marked 'Culy', 90 cm high, 43 cm wide, 21 cm deep
