A large polychrome wood figure of Guanyin, late Ming/Qing dynasty, standing on a lotus base with right arm raised in vitarkamudra, the left lowered to the side, wearing loosely draped robes tied with sashes and a celestial scarf draped over both arms, the face with benign expression and lowered gaze and hair drawn into a high chignon with elaborate diadem, remains of coloured pigments, 187 cm high
