A fine silver inkwell centre-piece, Australian, circa 1880. with two glass inkwells suspended in the tree-ferns, apparently unmarked. Under glass dome. This piece was bought with an attribution to William Kerr, Sydney (1838-1896) although the design and the somewhat distinctive band of decoration around the foot-rim relates more to Steiner designs.
