Fine Japanese lacquer Suzuribako, c.1940's, by Moriya Shotei (1890-1972), Japan, Showa period (1926-1989), of rectangular form, the cover decorated with pine trees in Togidashi technique and inscription to bottom right, inset with the original ink stone and gilt brass suiteki (water dropper), with original wood tomobako storage box, signed Shotei Saku on the underside of the cover, 3.5 cm x 22 cm x 17 cm
